In addition to anti-crime and disaster prevention technologies, we place great emphasis on paying attention to detail, keeping in constant contact with families and local authorities to ensure the safety of every child.
We take the following steps to ensure peace of mind for students coming to and from school:

Automated emails are sent to the child’s guardian’s mobile phone when they enter and leave classes.
We participate in the “Kodomo 110” child refuge scheme to provide shelter if a child is in need of help, contributing to regional safety.
※Registered schools only
All of TOMAS’ classrooms are open booths with no door and a classroom inspection makes regular rounds during class time.
In case of the worst in a disaster scenario, we employ numerous disaster prevention measures.

Emergency food, drinking water, insulation sheets, anti-dusk masks, portable toilets, helmets and other disaster prevention supplies are stored in every school.
Earthquake early warning devices that notify of an incoming tremor are situated in every school.
AED’s are located in every school and training is given to employees regarding their use.
The latest information regarding evacuation zones in an emergency is provided to each school and checked regularly for accuracy.
In entrance exam season, we enforce hand sanitising when entering schools in order to prevent transmission of influenza. In addition, we install various virus removal machines around classrooms.
