Our Stance

Our company recognises the establishment of Corporate Governance as one of corporate management’s most pressing issues. While ensuring that compliance is exercised thoroughly and when necessary, we are devoted to the strengthening and fulfilment of our Corporate Government policies by both the Board of Directors and Corporate Auditors. In the interest of ongoing business growth and development, we also consider the pursuit of stable profits and contribution to society to be of the utmost importance. Through strengthening our approach to corporate auditing, we hope to achieve stable and effective management while maintaining the trust and respect of all shareholders and customers.

Leading a Revolution in Corporate Governance

We are constantly striving to strengthen our approach to Corporate Governance in order to achieve higher and higher results as a company and meet the expectations of not only our students and their guardians, but also our shareholders and investors.Currently, Riso Kyoiku Group has a board of ten directors, including two external directors. By selecting two external directors, we aim to increase transparency in corporate management and ensure fairness, as well as strengthen our executive auditing functionality. In addition, our external auditors are selected with legal expertise in mind, reaffirming our corporate management policy of sustainable growth. Furthermore, in appointing a Corporate Compliance Director, we have established a business model that ensures its own effectiveness through a strong emphasis on compliance.

Expanding Our Risk Management System

By enforcing strict adherence to compliance, we can ensure that there will be no reoccurrence of past misconduct. To avoid any risk that might pose a threat to current business operations, we have set up the following groups:

Risk & Compliance Committee

A committee spanning all groups of the company that takes measures to ensure regular business activities can be carried out in accordance with compliance and corporate social responsibility. Headed by the Corporate Compliance Director and with representatives of each group company, the committee seeks to proactively exchange ideas and opinions to create effective corporate policy.

Internal Auditing Office

An organisation that provides advice to all business units and ensures that compliance is being properly exercised across the company as a whole.

Compliance Training for All Employees

All employees are required to take periodical compliance training via online learning or group training to help understand the vital role compliance plays in our company
